This is a beautiful, perplexing and inspiring universe, the greatest work of plastic art that exists. Our world is a blend of the natural and the man-made, whether artifacts, the adapted landscape or the built environment, all of which offer inspiration to an artist, including much that is too readily dismissed as "ugly".
And what about the "Black Swans" that surprise and amaze, shock and awaken us to the very little that we think we know about how it all works. A glimpse of the eternal, perhaps?
